Whisper of the House is now available for PS5, bringing its room-organising jobs, freeform decorating and quietly strange town mystery to Sony's current console. The official PlayStation launch article confirms the August 27 release and explains how everyday objects reveal the stories of Whisper Town's residents.
For Malaysian players, the local Store is the important final check. On August 31, the official Malaysia listing showed a standard price of RM60.11 and a 20% PlayStation Plus price of RM48.08, with the offer scheduled to end at midnight MYT as September 18 becomes September 19. The official Malaysia PlayStation Store listing identifies Whisper of the House as a PS5 game from E-Home Entertainment Development Company. It supports English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese screen text. The Store also lists one-player offline play and Remote Play support.
The PlayStation Plus reduction is a purchase discount, not a monthly game or a free entitlement. Compare the discounted total with the cost and benefits of your current membership before deciding whether the offer actually saves you money. Players without PlayStation Plus can still buy the standard edition at the normal live Store price.
What you do in Whisper Town
You play the town's all-purpose housekeeper. Jobs include helping residents move, clearing clutter, preparing shops, arranging keepsakes and finding missing cats. Placement is not reduced to one rigid solution: the point is to make a room work while interpreting what its objects say about the person who lives there.
The game contains more than 1,800 furniture pieces and over 10 home layouts. Wallpapers, floors and selected furniture can be recoloured or retextured, while smaller interactions let you press a gramophone button, squeeze a bath duck or pull a tissue from a box. Those details support both relaxed decorating and the hidden clues behind the town's stranger events.
The mystery develops through observation rather than a forced timer. A floating number in the museum, rumours around the town well and unusual cracks in familiar places give attentive players a second reason to inspect every room.
Choose the MY Store version before loading your wallet
Sign in to the Malaysia PlayStation Store and confirm three things before adding funds: the account country or region is Malaysia, the selected item is the PS5 standard edition, and the checkout total is shown in RM. Then compare that total with any wallet credit already on the account.
