Check the offer on your Malaysia account
The PlayStation Plus Malaysia page confirms “up to 25%” on a 12-month membership and an offer end date of 30 September. “Up to” is not a promise that every tier or account receives 25%. Sign in to your own Malaysia PlayStation account, select the plan you actually want and compare the final checkout price and renewal terms. PlayStation says the game catalog and benefits vary by region and plan.
If you are joining for 12 months
Start with the 12-month tier shown to your account. Check the discounted total, the benefits of Essential, Extra or Deluxe, and the renewal price before confirming. PlayStation Plus renews automatically at the then-current Store price unless you cancel under its terms. If you want to fund the purchase through your Malaysia wallet, buy a PlayStation Network Card (MY) for your 12-month membership after checking the final amount. A wallet card does not itself grant the promotional price.
If you already have PlayStation Plus
The announcement describes savings on the remaining membership period when current members upgrade to Extra or Deluxe. It does not give one universal upgrade price or say that the new-member 25% figure applies to every upgrade. Open the upgrade option on your current account and compare its final charge, remaining term and future renewal before choosing. If that upgrade is the decision you make and your Malaysia wallet needs more funds, purchase a Malaysia PlayStation wallet card for the upgrade balance. This is a separate decision from buying a new 12-month membership.
Confirm the account region before redeeming a card
PlayStation's Malaysia account-region guide says a voucher and the receiving account's country or region must match. A PlayStation Network Card (MY) is therefore for a Malaysia account, even if its buyer lives elsewhere. Check the account region before buying; PlayStation says it cannot be changed after account creation.
