God of War Laufey Malaysia pre-order: Standard vs Digital Deluxe

God of War Laufey is listed for PS5 pre-order on the Malaysia PlayStation Store. As checked on 7 October 2026, Standard costs RM299, Digital Deluxe costs RM339, and a separate Digital Deluxe Upgrade costs RM40. The decision is whether you want the Deluxe extras with the game now or would rather keep the Standard purchase and consider the upgrade separately.

Malaysia prices: Standard, Deluxe and the upgrade

Digital optionListed priceWhat you get
Standard EditionRM299The PS5 game. A qualifying pre-order also gets the announced pre-order bonus.
Digital Deluxe EditionRM339The PS5 game, digital mini artbook, digital soundtrack, Dark Alchemy equipment set and an in-game resource pack. A qualifying pre-order also gets the announced bonus.
Digital Deluxe UpgradeRM40A separate add-on for players who own Standard and want the Deluxe extras. It is not a copy of the game.

At the listed prices, Deluxe costs RM40 more than Standard. Standard plus the separately listed RM40 upgrade also totals RM339, provided those prices remain in place when you buy. Check the final store cart because listings and availability can change.

What comes with the pre-order bonus?

PlayStation lists the Last Wish Armor Set, Phranque Golden Leaves cosmetic appearance and an in-game resource pack as the pre-order bonus. The announcement shows that bonus for a qualifying pre-order of either edition; you do not need Deluxe solely to receive those pre-order items. The items unlock through story progression, so do not expect them all to appear immediately when you first launch the game.

Digital Deluxe adds the Dark Alchemy armor, blade, bow scales and catalyst, plus the digital mini artbook, soundtrack and resource pack. Those extras are a reason to choose Deluxe if you want them; they are separate from the common pre-order bonus.

Check your Malaysia account and wallet first

PlayStation says voucher codes must match the country or region of the account that redeems them. Check your account's country or region using PlayStation's account guide before buying a Malaysia card. An account set to another region cannot redeem a Malaysia voucher merely because its owner is in Malaysia, and PlayStation says the account region cannot be changed after creation.

PlayStation's Malaysia gift-card guidance says cards add funds to the PlayStation Store wallet and can be used for digital pre-orders. Redeem the code on the matching Malaysia account, check the MYR wallet balance, then confirm the edition and final amount in the Malaysia Store. A wallet card does not pay for a physical disc from a retailer.

Fund the digital edition you want to pre-order

If you have chosen Standard or Digital Deluxe and your Malaysia wallet is short, buy a PlayStation Network Card (MY) for your digital pre-order. Choose enough MYR value to cover the shortfall after checking your existing balance and the live Store total. SuprimX currently lists an RM300 card, which can cover the listed RM299 Standard price if the wallet has no other spend; the RM339 Deluxe price needs more than RM300 of available wallet value.

Prefer Standard now and the Deluxe upgrade later?

The Malaysia Store separately lists a RM40 Digital Deluxe Upgrade. If you would rather pre-order Standard first, keep that later choice open: the upgrade adds the Deluxe extras to a qualifying Standard copy, but it is not a second game purchase and it does not replace the pre-order requirement for the common bonus. Verify that the upgrade is still listed for your account and check its current price before paying.

When you decide you want those extras and need more MYR wallet credit, buy a PlayStation Network Card (MY) for the listed Deluxe upgrade. SuprimX currently lists an RM50 card as one way to cover a RM40 shortfall, leaving the unused value in your Malaysia wallet for another digital Store purchase.
