Ironclad Democracy is the next Helldivers 2 Premium Warbond, scheduled for September 22, 2026. Arrowhead’s PlayStation Blog announcement lists new weapons, throwables, armour, boosters and tank patterns. Its small-print requirement is the part to check first: you need the base game, Super Credits and game progression to unlock the Warbond’s items.
For a Malaysia PlayStation account, that leads to two separate decisions: how you access the game, and whether you want to buy Super Credits for this optional Warbond. A PlayStation Store wallet card can help with either purchase, but it does not replace the game or skip progression.
What arrives in Ironclad Democracy
The September 22 lineup includes the AR-11 Arbitrator assault rifle with an underslung shotgun, the single-round-reload GL-15 Evictor grenade launcher and the P-34 Breacher missile pistol. These are announced Warbond items, not equipment every player receives automatically.
The G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker is a drone-like throwable that follows the user before homing in on a nearby enemy; the G-8 Immolation spreads fire. Arrowhead also lists light BFM-16 Tanker and heavy BFM-220 Ironclad armour. Their Blunt-Force Mitigation passive reduces impact and collision damage by 30% and improves resistance to knockdowns, according to the announcement.
Integrated Extinguishers shortens the time needed to put out flames. Surplus EAT Allocation adds two uses of the Expendable Anti-Tank stratagem per mission. The Warbond also lists capes, an emote, player cards, the Treadhead title and three tank-exclusive patterns.
Check how you access Helldivers 2 in Malaysia
The Warbond requires the base game. The Malaysia PlayStation Store listing for Helldivers 2 lets you check its current purchase and PlayStation Plus catalogue options for your account. Catalogue access depends on the applicable subscription and can change; it is not ownership of the game. The store also states that PlayStation Plus is required for online play on PS5.
If you decide to own the digital base game on a Malaysia PSN account, buy a PlayStation Network Card (MY) to fund the game purchase. Check the store’s current price, your existing wallet balance and the card value before checkout. If you already own or can access the game, skip this purchase decision.
Fund Super Credits only if you want this Warbond
The official announcement says Super Credits and game progression are required to unlock the Premium Warbond’s items. The Malaysia PlayStation Store Super Credits listing confirms a MYR purchase path. Check the Warbond’s in-game Super Credit price and your balance when it goes live; the announcement does not promise a fixed Malaysia price or instant access to every item.
If the Warbond is worth buying after that check, buy a PlayStation Network Card (MY) to add wallet funds for Super Credits. Choose a value that covers only the amount you need, then purchase the Credits through the Malaysia store. Buying a wallet card does not itself grant Super Credits or Warbond gear.
Check your PSN region before redeeming a card
PlayStation’s Malaysia payment guide says a gift card can add funds to the PlayStation Store wallet for digital purchases. Its account-region guide says voucher codes must match the account’s country or region, and an account’s region cannot be changed after creation. A Malaysia card therefore belongs with a Malaysia PSN account and MYR store purchase. Confirm that account region before paying, then redeem the code on that account.
The launch is scheduled for September 22, so treat the listed contents and timing as an announcement until the Warbond appears in your game. You can play Helldivers 2 without buying this optional Warbond; the purchasing steps above are only for players who choose it.
