VALORANT Champions Shanghai 2026 tickets for the Group Stage and early Playoffs go on Mastercard priority sale at 11:00 AM Malaysia time on 30 August. General sale opens at 11:00 AM Malaysia time on 2 September. International buyers must use a valid passport, and weekday tickets start at ¥198 while weekend tickets start at ¥288.
This first ticket release covers matches at Jing’an Sports Center, not the later Finals Weekend at Mercedes-Benz Arena. China Standard Time and Malaysia Time are both UTC+8, so Riot’s listed 11:00 AM sale times need no conversion for buyers in Malaysia.

The official Champions Shanghai ticket notice says international fans can use MAISEAT. Mastercard priority purchase is available to eligible cardholders outside Mainland China; buyers enter the first eight card digits for verification and must complete payment with a Mastercard.

Ticket dates and official prices
Prices are listed in Chinese yuan. A regular Tier 1 ticket is separate from the higher-priced Tier 1 Bundle. Riot says the bundle is limited to Mainland China residents, so international buyers should not assume that option will be available through MAISEAT.

Doors are scheduled for 3:30 PM, followed by the pre-show countdown at 4:00 PM, pre-show at 4:30 PM and show start at 5:00 PM. Those local Shanghai times are also the same clock times in Malaysia.
Passport, identity and entry rules
Champions Shanghai uses real-name ticketing. International attendees must register the ticket with a valid passport and bring that same original physical passport to the venue. The name and document information entered during purchase must match, and entry includes identity verification and facial recognition.
- Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold.
- Each account can buy up to four tickets per event.
- Every ticket in an order needs a different valid ID.
- The same ID cannot be used for duplicate purchases for one session across official platforms.
- Seat selection is unavailable; seat details should appear in the ticket wallet about two to three days before the event.
For MAISEAT orders, Riot says refunds are available only during designated periods and carry a 3.5% processing fee. Because the refund deadline becomes stricter closer to the event, buyers should read the current official timetable before paying.
What Malaysian buyers should check before payment
Use the passport of the person who will attend, check every digit before payment and avoid unofficial resale listings. Also confirm that the session is at Jing’an Sports Center: the published notice says Champions later moves to Mercedes-Benz Arena for Finals Weekend, but it does not yet provide that separate finals ticket sale.
Match tickets are bought through the official ticketing route and are not purchased with VALORANT Points. Watching broadcasts also does not require VP or a purchase. If you separately want VP for an in-game cosmetic, first confirm that your Riot account is eligible for the Malaysia product and copy the correct Riot ID and tagline before using the Valorant Malaysia top-up page. That optional account purchase has no effect on ticket access, seating or tournament rewards.
