MOONTON's 13 August announcement confirms that Magic Chess: Go Go Season 7: Chrono Echoes is live with four new Synergies, the game's first 7-Gold Hero, a Commander rollout and the Starbeat Stage Magical Chessboard. The season mixes returning mechanics with a concert theme rather than replacing every familiar composition.
For Malaysian players, the useful decisions are how the new Synergies build towards Alpha, when Franco and Stellar Resonance arrive, and whether the Starbeat Stage or another Season 7 cosmetic is actually listed for Diamonds on the account. Gameplay access is separate from any cosmetic purchase.

Dragon Altar and Shadeweaver also return from Seasons 1 and 2. The official announcement does not publish full breakpoint values, Hero pools or Commander acquisition prices, so use the live in-game descriptions for exact composition planning.
How SPECTRE unlocks Alpha, the first 7-Gold Hero
SPECTRE is the route to Season 7's headline unit. Combining and upgrading SPECTRE Heroes advances the Synergy until Alpha, Magic Chess: Go Go's first 7-Gold Hero, becomes available.
That makes Alpha a composition endpoint rather than a normal early Shop purchase. The announcement does not state that every SPECTRE game will reach Alpha, and it does not give the exact upgrade breakpoint. Economy, contested units and the live Synergy requirement still determine whether the line is practical in a match.
What Echomancer, Starbelle and Mistbender change
Echomancer introduces variance by summoning a random 5-Gold Hero from an earlier season. Plan around the extra high-cost unit you receive instead of assuming one fixed carry will appear.
Starbelle uses a special Lightstick. Equipping it turns a Hero into a Fan, allowing that unit to share bonuses with Starbelle Heroes. Activating the Synergy also changes the battlefield with its own music and visual effects.
Mistbender creates an in-match token economy. Players collect tokens and spend them in a special Shop on Equipment and Hero buffs, giving the composition another timing decision between saving and strengthening the board.
The returning Dragon Altar and Shadeweaver Synergies add older lines to the same pool. Their presence does not mean their prior-season values are unchanged; the current client remains the source for breakpoints and effects.
Franco Commander and Stellar Resonance dates
Franco is the first new Commander in the Season 7 rollout, arriving on 21 August. His Iron Hook targets a random enemy and steals Loot. Upgrading Franco during battle adds a chance for the hook to retrieve a powerful 5-Gold Hero.
The same hook powers Stellar Resonance from 21 August through 20 September. The event lets players fish for treasures across the sea of stars and collect new items. Lylia and Brody are scheduled for September, while Lukas is planned for October; exact days were not announced.
Starbeat Stage and the Chrono Echoes theme song
The new Starbeat Stage Magical Chessboard carries the concert presentation into matches with spotlights, cheering fans, lightsticks and music. MOONTON also lists unlockable chessboard companions and refresh effects, but the announcement does not state their currency, price or acquisition method.
Go Go Plaza also carries the Season 7 celebration, giving Chess Masters a social space outside the match board.
Check the in-game Diamond price before topping up
The Synergies and Alpha progression are gameplay systems; the announcement does not say they require Diamonds. Treat the Starbeat Stage, companions, refresh effects and Commander cosmetics as separate decisions, and do not assume every unlock is paid.
If your in-game Store lists the Starbeat Stage or another named Season 7 cosmetic for Diamonds, confirm its price and availability on your account before buying currency.
