Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has passed 90 million cumulative downloads in Malaysia, according to MOONTON Games’ Malaysian audience announcement. The publisher also says nearly one in five Malaysians plays each month.
The figures accompanied a Merdeka art workshop at The Exchange TRX, ahead of MLBB’s global tenth-anniversary campaign starting on 4 September 2026.
What the Malaysian audience figures measure
Cumulative downloads and monthly players measure different things. The first describes downloads accumulated over time; the second describes a recurring audience. Neither should be presented as 90 million different Malaysians playing today.
These are publisher-reported figures. The announcement does not provide a detailed counting methodology, so it cannot establish how many downloads represent repeat installations or the number of unique lifetime players.
Badang becomes a canvas at The Exchange TRX
Malaysian mural artist Cloakwork guided participants in reimagining Badang, MLBB’s hero inspired by Malay folklore, using Procreate on iPad with Apple Pencil Pro.
The report does not announce this artwork as an in-game skin. If it inspires you to change Badang’s look, first check the actual skin, availability and price in your game. For a cosmetic you have confirmed is sold for Diamonds, buy Mobile Legends (Malaysia) Diamonds for your chosen Badang look. A top-up does not grant the workshop artwork.
Check anniversary rewards before buying Diamonds
MOONTON’s ALL IN MLBB announcement confirms a Celebration Pass running from 4 September to 1 November, including a Nana Epic Skin and skin chests earned through Battle Pass EXP. It also identifies a free Returning Anniversary Skin for returning players. Check the event’s requirements in-game before deciding what else you want.
Keep any optional purchase separate from those rewards. SuprimX’s Mobile Legends (Malaysia) product offers Diamond denominations and asks for your MLBB User ID and Zone ID. Use the Malaysia product only when it matches your account; being physically in Malaysia does not establish that match.

- Confirm the account region, User ID and Zone ID before checkout.
After those checks, buy your Mobile Legends (Malaysia) anniversary Diamond top-up against the shortfall you have calculated. Buying Diamonds is not a requirement for claiming the free rewards described above.
