Marvel Rivals’ 3 September 2026 patch adds Ultron and X-Men ’97 Season 2 store content, with an important qualification: Rogue and Gambit’s complete bundles receive their MVP items later. The patch also includes a free Cyclops customization option, Jubilee emote support and a Psylocke visual fix.
For Malaysian players deciding what to buy, separate three questions: when the store content opens, whether the bundle currently contains the item you want, and how much additional currency your existing account actually needs.
Patch and store release times in Malaysia
The official Version 20260903 patch notes schedule installation for 3 September at 5pm MYT, with no server downtime. The listed store drop follows on 4 September at 10am MYT. These convert the announcement’s 09:00 UTC and 02:00 UTC times respectively.
A successful patch download therefore does not mean the new cosmetics have already reached the store. Check the live item listing before planning a purchase.
Free customization and the small visual fix
Cyclops’ Elegant Eye costume gains a free cape-removal option; that does not make the costume itself free. Take a Seat gains Jubilee support. Psylocke’s default-costume scarf is fixed on the Hellfire Bay Beach swing.
These notes do not ask players to buy currency to install the patch or receive the fix. Check the customization menu for items you already own before spending on something new.
Rogue and Gambit: check the complete-bundle condition
The Rogue and Gambit X-Men ’97 Season 2 bundles initially omit their MVP items. Owners of each complete bundle will receive the corresponding MVP free when its update arrives. No delivery date is announced. An X-Men ’97 Season 2 Emoji Bundle is also listed separately.
If the MVP is your main reason to buy, waiting is a reasonable choice. Do not assume buying the costume alone qualifies for the complete-bundle benefit. Once you have checked the live inclusions and chosen a complete bundle, buy Marvel Rivals Lattice for your chosen Rogue or Gambit bundle, allowing for currency you already have.
Ultron: separate the bundle from extra customization
Ultron’s additions are the B-Boy Prime Bundle, Caramel Crew and Mustard Beat chromas, and Ultimate Ability VFX.
The announcement does not give individual prices or establish that every extra is included in the base bundle. Compare the actual store entries: choose the bundle for its listed contents, then decide separately whether an extra customization is worth its additional cost. Once that choice and the required amount are clear, top up Marvel Rivals Lattice for the B-Boy Prime item you selected.
Check Units, Lattice and the receiving account
The publisher’s currency explanation distinguishes purchased Lattice from Units, which can be obtained by exchanging Lattice at 1:1 and through some free rewards. Check the currency shown beside the live price; an existing Units balance may reduce what you need to buy.
SuprimX’s Marvel Rivals top-up asks for a User ID. Copy the UID from the account that should receive the Lattice, recheck every digit and confirm the intended platform before payment. Being in Malaysia does not establish that separate platform accounts or balances are interchangeable.
