Marvel Rivals 20260911 balance changes that matter

Marvel Rivals’ Version 20260911 balance update changes every Strategist’s Ultimate Energy gain, rebuilds Scarlet Witch’s combat loop and adjusts more than 30 heroes across all three roles. The balance post was published on September 8, 2026. The update itself is free; Lattice remains an optional currency for eligible cosmetics, Battle Pass content and store choices shown on your account.

What changes for every Strategist

The widest change is easy to miss in a long list of hero adjustments. According to the official Version 20260911 balance post, every Strategist now converts healing into Ultimate Energy at 65% instead of 70%, while damage converts at 50% instead of 55%.

In practical terms, the same healing or damage output contributes less Ultimate Energy than before. Do not assume an old ultimate rhythm will still line up with the next fight. Malaysian players can use early Quick Match sessions to recheck when an ultimate becomes available, especially on heroes that alternate heavily between healing and damage.

The role-wide change sits alongside individual tuning. Mantis takes four seconds rather than three to gain one Life Orb, Cloak & Dagger lose some healing and vulnerability strength, and Invisible Woman’s returning Orb Projection heals less. Jeff, Loki, Luna Snow and White Fox receive healing improvements in other parts of their kits, so the patch is not a simple role-wide nerf.

Scarlet Witch gets the biggest redesign

Scarlet Witch receives the most substantial ability rewrite. Her new Scarlet Hex sends a shockwave through a 20-metre-long, eight-metre-wide area, deals 40 damage and applies a Chaos Mark. Damage to marked enemies converts 25% of that damage into Bonus Health, capped at 50.

Chaos Control drops from 85 to 75 damage per second but can affect all marked enemies within its frontal cone. Chthonian Burst fires faster, raising its listed damage per second from 160 to 200. Dark Seal now stuns only when it first detonates, then deals continuous damage, slows targets and keeps applying Chaos Marks.

Her mobility and ultimate also change. Mystic Projection’s movement boost falls from 50% to 35%. During Reality Erasure’s wind-up, nearby enemies take damage that rises from 50 to 80 over four seconds, while Scarlet Witch has only a small chance to ignore incoming damage. Test the full sequence in the live build before carrying an old combo into Competitive.

Key Vanguard and Duelist winners and losers

For Vanguards, Captain America gains 50 base Health, keeps full bounce damage on Vibranium Energy Saw and extends Voltaic Union when paired with Thor. Doctor Strange gets faster Daggers of Denak with a shorter interval between casts. Emma Frost, Groot, Peni Parker, Rogue and Thor also receive durability, reach or cooldown improvements.

Several frontliners move in the other direction. Magneto loses 50 base Health, weaker Bulwark shields and a longer Metallic Chaos cooldown. The Hood loses Health and defensive strength, while The Thing has lower Health, less Stone Haymaker percentage damage and longer cooldowns on key engagements.

Among Duelists, Wolverine’s Savage Claw base damage rises from 15 to 18, and his Regenerative Healing Factor now grants a flat 300 Bonus Health rather than scaling with Rage. Iron Fist, Namor, Psylocke, Spider-Man and Star-Lord receive notable improvements. Black Cat trades Phantom Pursuit invincibility for 50% damage reduction and Unstoppable, while Black Widow loses some long-range damage and needs more energy for Assassin’s Focus.

These are mechanical changes, not a guaranteed tier list. Team composition, map, player execution and later hotfixes still matter. Use the figures above as a shortlist for heroes to retest, then confirm the live client before making a ranked decision.

Test a main before buying Lattice

No Lattice is needed to receive the balance changes. If the patch makes you consider a different main, play that hero first and check which costumes or bundles are actually offered on your account. This separates a gameplay decision from an optional cosmetic purchase.

Once you have tested the hero and chosen a specific eligible cosmetic, top up Marvel Rivals Lattice for that confirmed cosmetic choice. Check the live Lattice cost and your current balance before selecting a denomination, rather than buying currency for an item you may not use.

Confirm the UID before your final top-up

For a separate Battle Pass or store purchase, first open the relevant in-game page and confirm that it is available on the intended account. Note the displayed Lattice requirement, subtract the balance already held and choose only the amount that matches your purchase plan.

SuprimX’s Marvel Rivals top-up uses the account’s numeric UID. Open your profile from the avatar at the top right, copy the UID and verify the displayed player name before checkout. When the item, shortfall, UID and receiving account all match, buy Marvel Rivals Lattice from SuprimX. Never provide a game password or sign-in verification code for this direct top-up.
