Malaysia is part of the LCP 2026 Wild Card pathway, and the Regional Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) gives eligible teams another route towards the LCP Promotion Series. Riot's 27 August LCQ announcement sets out a larger, 12-team Knockout Round and rewards ranging from an emote and icon to an Epic skin choice and Triumphant Ryze.
The announced registration window ended on 9 September. The schedule below explains the competition and its rewards; it is not a live results report. Those rewards depend on participation or placement, not an RP purchase.

The qualifier groups explicitly include Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. The LCQ is open to residents of eligible Wild Card territories, subject to the tournament rules linked in the announcement. Living in Malaysia alone does not establish that a roster meets every rule. The announcement lists calendar dates without match start times, so there is no verified MYT start time to convert here.
How the 12-team Knockout Round works
The Open Round remains a two-day, single-elimination stage with best-of-one and best-of-three matches. Four teams advance from each day. Day two is a second-chance bracket that excludes the four teams already qualified on day one.
The revised Knockout Round adds four direct entries to those eight qualifiers. These seeds join the second round:
- The runner-up from the Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore qualifier.
- The runner-up from the Philippines qualifier.
- The runner-up from the Thailand qualifier.
- The winner of THE DIFF 2026, an Indonesian community tournament.
Riot's format graphic specifies double elimination, best-of-three to best-of-five matches and Fearless Draft for the Knockout Round. Winning the LCQ secures a Wild Card Playoffs place, not an immediate LCP league slot.
What the tournament rewards actually unlock
- All participants: Oh… Emote and Bedge Poro Icon.
- Players on the top eight teams: an Epic skin of their choice.
- The winning team: Triumphant Ryze, alongside the onward qualification opportunity.
The total prize pool is US$2,000. The official reward graphic breaks it down by team finish:

Players who joined an earlier qualifier can still receive applicable LCQ rewards, specifically the Epic skin and prize money. The announcement does not give a delivery date or enumerate the eligible Epic skin selection.
Choose an earned Epic skin before buying another
If you earn a top-eight skin choice, confirm the eligible selection before spending RP on that same skin. The practical order is to settle the reward choice first, then decide whether a different store cosmetic is still worth buying. Do not assume that topping up substitutes for a tournament result or unlocks Triumphant Ryze through this event.
For a separate skin you have chosen to buy, buy RP for a different skin with League of Legends (Malaysia) after checking its current client price and your existing balance. Keep that optional purchase separate from your earned reward.

Riot's League of Legends regional-server guide lists Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia as one server region and explains that each Riot Account is linked to a specific League region. Your physical location does not replace checking the account you actually use.
